Minecraft Ghast painting on electrical box
I decided to paint this up on an electrical box outside of where my boyfriend works. I wanted it to suprise him when he finally saw it when he would go outside for a smoke. It was his birthday.
Had to do this at night, it was so hot that the paints barely worked, it was hard to see. Next time I will wear a headlamp.
I made a stencil for this and also freehand.
Minecraft Ghast Halloween costume
I made this one afternoon out of a refrigerator box I found in the shed. That and some paint and I went ahead and used the legs from Jellington.
I did make a mouth opening for this so i could shoot out fireballs.
I thought more people would have been aware of Minecraft but i was wrong. When I went out for Halloween, only a couple of people knew what I was. That's okay, though. It was fun to wear and it had an interior "shelf" in the body for me to put my purse and set down my drink.
He is now laying down on a cabinet in the bedroom. It looks like he is sleeping, very adorable I think.

Minecraft Ghast
I very much like the Ghast creature in Minecraft. I made her out of hardware cloth, wood, fabric and a solar panel with an LED. I made this in Spring of 2011.
I loved how the legs of this creature move in the game. I made her legs so that they, too, can move in the wind.
I wanted to (and still might) create a mouth opening where she will be able to shoot fireballs. I wanted to use roman candles for this but was afraid she might catch fire.
Her name is Jellington.
I will be adding additional photos of her.
